I'm almost two months late but, HAPPY HALLOWEEN! I remember going to trick-or-treat events when I was younger and I always used just one costume every year - a witch. I don't think I had a say on who I wanted to be then and all that mattered to me was the candies I'll be able to collect. But I do remember dressing-up as Barbie and joining this contest where I had to walk on a runway... I didn't win, though...... moving on. I think I only had did trick-or-treats thrice in my entire life, and that was when I was a kid. Growing up, I never got to experience it again with my friends (as a tween or a teenager.) I was either too lazy or... just lazy, really.


Last October 30th, I was finally able to dress-up on a Halloween afternoon and I celebrated it with my Kawaii Philippines family for their first Halloween party: The Kawaii Halloween Costume Party! And guess what I dressed up as?

I'd have to admit that I wasn't prepared for the party and I just really wanted to wear this sparkly dress that has been buried inside my closet for the past 2 years. AND Halloween is the best time to wear it because no one's going to question you and your choice of wardrobe.

Last September 21, I attended the 35th Manila International Book Fair at SMX along with my friend, Cheska.

I was able to snag two books — "After Dark" by Haruki Murakami and "Please Look After Mom" by Kyungsook Shin. A few days before the event, I actually finished reading “Norwegian Wood” which kind of explains why I purchased another one of his books — Post-Haruki Murakami vibes~ As for the latter book, it was an impulse purchase and a quick judgment on its title, plot, and book cover. It was pretty coincidental to have both books form one face.

So (the fabulous) Angela Gonzalvo organized another Tumblr meet-up last May called #LostInBGC. I wasn't able to attend the first one because the location was really far from where I live. BGC, on the other hand, is a tricycle + jeepney away from my house so yay!!

I've been planning to wear this dress for so long now but I had no one to take my outfit shots because I needed full-body photos. </3 It's honestly really hard to take outfit shots whilst depending on a camera's self-timer and a tripod. (Hashtag BloggerProblems) I was glad that my bestfriend, Sab, was free yesterday to take them for me!! *hearts and confetti everywhere*

Having to attend an event (aka the Tumblr Fair) that gives you the opportunity to meet different Tumblr bloggers, I opted to wear something that pretty much speaks of my blog as a whole.
