Last July, my friends Cheska, Sab, and I went to the Mind Museum! We've been planning this thing for months now and imagine our excitement when it finally pushed through already!! I'm a huge fan of museums and I like observing and staring at things for a long time. Hehe.
Sab was already familiar with the place since that was her second visit so Cheska and I were such newbie dorks and we just basically touched anything tangible and tried out all of their cool stuff while Sab took pictures of us being weird and everything.
There were actually museum guides on segways but we decided to detach ourselves from the other groups and go around the museum on our own.

Most of the things found in the Mind Museum were actually lessons we've already studied about last school year for our Physics class! Like the different waves -- the photo above is an example of one! We actually had to go back down and search for the camera in that area. One of the employees was kind enough to point where it was.
Although not seen in this (fail) photo, this was the place where you'll go under colorful rays of light! It was so colorful and I wanted to lie down on the ground and just watch the lights above me. :-(
You can't leave the Mind Museum without experiencing this. My hair was so thick that only a few strands went up (compared to the others). Oooooh, static energy.
In this place, we had to clip a Bp reader on one of our fingers and read the different poems made by Filipino and Foreign artists. The reader basically showed whether one of those works would actually touch our hearts. Unfortunately, none of them was able to move my heart so much to the point that my heartbeat rose up but it was nice to read works by artists I've only discovered of then!
"I love you from the bottom of my Hypothalamus!" Yes, there was a huge brain with each part marked with huge capital letters. No, I wasn't able to take photos of everything. </3
The printing press! Imagine all the hard work people had to do manually just to be able to produce newspapers and other materials.
After going around the whole museum, we've decided to continue our adventure outside.

The "playground" of the museum was actually part of our entrance fee so we actually took a long time here -- playing with bubbles, the slides, kiddie and all.
My favorite beanie! It's really fluffy and I like wearing this everywhere (even around our house hehe)
Minimal accessories
What's actually weird is that before we went to the Mind Museum, a lady from SM Aura asked me: "
Cosplayer po ba kayo? (Are you a cosplayer?)" and it was my first time to actually get that kind of question from anyone. I guess it's the beanie + colored hair + the whole outfit? I honestly don't know. No one knows.
One of my favorite parts of the museum would be the Astronomy section though we weren't able to watch the show because we couldn't understand their "schedule" and because they had this really fun circular shaped passageway and you'll feel like you're moving when it's only just the galaxy-colored curtain thing that's moving. We took so long there and I bet that we looked crazy from the outside.
Another one would be the music station! It was a touch screen where you play music based on their mood and era. We played all of the songs and sang to each song that was familiar to us. Parang nag-karaoke lang!
I'm hoping to visit the Mind Museum again soon! I'd like to read all the fun facts all over again and feed my brain with more knowledge *naks! Can I live there?
Oh and they have a new exhibit featuring the great Leonardo Da Vinci so I'm currently looking for a buddy!! Who's interested? Haha!
